Aligning Interests: Opportunities for Purchasers and Physicians to Accelerate Care Delivery, Innovation & Value

We’re pleased to share this new report of Roundtable discussions between several DFWBGH employers and physician leaders, which took place last July during the height of the COVID pandemic.  The strategic discussions focused on 3 key areas of mutual interest: Integration of behavioral health with primary care; Strategies to reduce low-value care;  and Meaningful physician performance metrics.  The Report includes side-by-side lists of the current state of affairs between employers and physicians, and existing barriers to improvements.  Recommended strategies for both parties are presented, plus employer action steps to overcome the barriers.
