Fostering mental health at work: the butterfly effect of management behaviors

This study assessed if managers’ behaviors can promote the involvement of employees to cultivate mental health. The study found that behaviors of managers affect mental health at work. Managers’ behaviors seemingly promoted the behaviors of employees which fostered good mental health at work. The managers’ behaviors not only influenced good mental health of employees, but they also encouraged employee engagement in such behaviors.
